You’ve heard the saying: “Once in a blue moon,” right? Well, this month's full moon is called the blue moon because of its rarity. Two full moons in the same month doesn’t happen too often! This means that October is special and that you stand to benefit from this phase if you wish to. The full moon is the time to harvest what was planted during the previous new moon phase. Let’s discuss how to use the harvest moon in a way that will reap benefits for you.
Clear your body and mind to take advantage of this phase, you will not be able to focus on what is most important if your mental space is cluttered. The full moon is an excellent time to let things that are holding you back go to make room for what you set into motion during the new moon phase. Is there anything clouding your brain and taking up space in your life that you need to get rid of? Release your stressors into the universe and watch your situation turn around for the better!
Meditate & Manifest
Meditation is a great way to get in tune with your positive energy and get yourself in the right mindset for the harvest. Use this time to set intentions for your day or week and rid yourself of negativity. Meditation is for everyone and you can do it as often or as little as you’d like for any amount of time. Find a quiet place with no distractions and meditate on your passions while manifesting your intentions!
Reap Don’t Sow
The full moon is not the time to fully jump into anything new. This phase is for reaping the harvest of the seeds that were planted during the new moon. Starting a new project and adding too much to your agenda will take your attention away from the other things you previously set into motion. If you lose sight of what is most important, you will have a bunch of half-finished projects and no end in sight for any of them. Save the seed planting for the next new moon.
Stress is an enemy of progress, don’t let it overtake your brain. Anything or anyone that threatens your energy should have no place in your life. All of the little things that worry you each day should be let go. This is much easier said than done, but the sooner you address what stresses you out instead of just suppressing it, the happier and more successful you will be in the long run.
